Info Session and Taster with Sistema Scotland/Big Noise Govanhill

Sistema Scotland is a charity on a mission to improve lives and strengthen communities through music and nurturing relationships.

The event will start with a presentation on the work of Big Noise Govanhill and how volunteers support this. Attendees will then be able to observe our after-school programme with the opportunity to take part at each stage - huddle, walking line, snack time and the music lessons.

As a Big Noise volunteer, you'll be helping us to improve lives through music, but you don't need any musical experience, just a passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.

It’s also a brilliant opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and connect with your community!

Volunteers support Big Noise staff at our after-school and holiday clubs in a variety of valuable ways.

Helping children stay focused and engaged during music lessons

Walking children from school to Big Noise

Helping to set up spaces for rehearsals and music lessons

Supervising children during snack times and breaks

Supporting children and staff at events and on trips
