Scotland’s favourite festive family day out is back! Europe’s largest indoor funfair returns, packed full of family rides, thrill rides, and children’s rides – so there’s something for everyone! Don’t miss the Dodgems, take a trip around the Fun House, or brave the infamous Sticky Wall. Rollercoaster fans can get in on the action with Carnival’s biggest ever coaster arriving for the 2026 season. The show stopping Magic Mouse rollercoaster – the largest UK based travelling rollercoaster will make its debut as the biggest indoor attraction ever featured at Carnival. Standing at 13 metres tall and reaching speeds of 29 mph, it’s sure to impress the daredevils of the family. Try your luck at the Hook-a-Duck, Penalty Shoot Out, or the classic Coconut Shy for your chance to win an extra festive treat. Plus there’s an inflatable play area for the little ones. Come and get your face painted, test yourself on the climbing wall, or see how high you can fly on the trampolines and much more! There’s so much to get involved in, it’s the perfect day out for all the family. Open from Friday 18th December until Sunday 10th January at the SEC, Glasgow, the IRN-BRU Carnival is an unmissable event in your festive calendar – there’s a reason it’s been running for over 100 years! This year’s ticket prices start from £14 for Bingo (which includes 6 games) and £21.50 for standard admission plus ten vouchers, with discounts available for groups, concessions and Young Scot card holders. Plus, kids under three go free. Late entry tickets have also returned this year at £16 for entry the last two hours with 10 vouchers included. The IRN-BRU Carnival’s popular Autism Friendly Sessions are also returning, with additional implementations including reduced music levels, adjusted lighting, and where possible, slower rides to create a more relaxed setting - running on three days this year including 12pm-3pm on Sunday 20 December and Wednesday 23 December and from 4pm-9pm on Wednesday 6 January.
