First introduced in The Eyre Affair 25 years ago, 2026 brings the final surreal adventure of literary detective Thursday Next in Dark Reading Matter, the first Thursday Next novel in over a decade and a thrilling climax to the series. Combining thrilling adventure with brilliant satire and hilarious surreal humour, Jasper Fforde has once again delivered a masterpiece as Thursday battles the Goliath Corporation's attempts to exploit the theoretical Dark Bookverse for profit! Jasper will join us to discuss writing funny books, the joys of playing with literature, bringing a series to a satisfying conclusion, and more, before signing copies of his books.
