Formerly the frontwoman of Sparrow and the Workshop and alt-pop duo BDY_PRTS, she blends indie, folk, and avant-rock with piercingly sharp lyrical storytelling. Her recent releases include the critically acclaimed EP Not Your First and the albums This Rock and Peace Cult. Alex Rex is the project of Alex Neilson, best known as the founder and mastermind behind folk-rock stalwarts Trembling Bells. Having performed alongside artists such as Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Shirley Collins, his music crafts a raw mixture of dark comedy, folk traditions, and cathartic songwriting focused on love, loss, and human nature.
