Holey knits? Let’s make them whole again.

As part of Sustainable Fashion Week 2026, join us at our Queen Street Hospice Shop for a creative Mending Workshop and discover how a little repair can give your favourite clothes a new lease of life.

Bring along a worn or damaged woollen garment and learn creative techniques to mend, refresh and transform your knitwear. Whether it’s a much-loved jumper with a hole or an old favourite that could do with a refresh, you’ll be guided through simple ways to turn it into something stylish and unique.

We’ll provide all the materials, tools and supplies you’ll need. Simply bring along the woollen item you’d like to work on.

Taking place during Sustainable Fashion Week, from 26 September to 4 October, the workshop celebrates a more sustainable approach to fashion by encouraging us to repair, reuse and re-wear the clothes we already own.
