About This Event

The Loch Ness and Inverness Day Trip will depart from Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 7.30am. This full-day excursion takes participants into the heart of the Scottish Highlands, with scheduled stops at the legendary Loch Ness and the city of Inverness. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the loch’s scenic shoreline and admire the sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, followed by a guided visit to Inverness city centre. The tour is led by a knowledgeable driver-guide, who will provide engaging commentary on local history and geography throughout the journey. Tickets are priced at £50.24 per person.

We will travel northwest towards Loch Ness, the most visited loch in Scotland. We'll head northwest toward Loch Ness, Scotland’s most visited loch, where you’ll explore the charming village of Fort Augustus. Enjoy plenty of free time to take in stunning walks and soak up the breathtaking views over the loch. You'll also have the chance to meet the iconic Highland Coos, adorable long-haired cattle native to the Highlands! You can pet, feed, and snap selfies with these lovable animals, famous for their long horns and shaggy coats. This tour also includes free time to explore Fort Augustus and Inverness, offering even more Highland beauty and history. Lunch / Things to bring with you

There will be time for a lunch break in restaurants, however, you can also bring your own packed lunch. Bring with you a camera, warm clothes, proper walking / hiking shoes, an ID, a power bank, a bottle of water and snacks. We will also have tea/coffee and toilet breaks throughout the journey.

Notes and Terms

Tickets are very limited and available based on first come, first served.

Tickets are non-refundable if you miss the tour for any reason.

If you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket to others, however, you must notify International Student Tours in advance for check in purposes.

You will receive a reminder email with details and updates a few days prior to departure.

Our tours are open to everyone aged 18 and over, including adult students, professionals, visitors, and tourists. If you wish to book tickets for minors, you must contact us in advance.
