Mastering Sourdough - The Quest for the
Perfect Loaf
As supermarkets continue to add more and more ingredients to their bread products, a revolution is warming up in the depths of a dutch oven and only defiant warriors like you will come out the other side victorious.
This quest is catered towards all levels of experience when it comes to sourdough at home.
We will start from the very basics, covering some theory so we can lay the foundations before quickly getting our hands dirty.
As the sourdough process takes roughly 5 hours, I've carefully crafted a schedule that allows us to cover all aspects of the sourdough process within the time window of the class, making sure you get hands on with every step of the process.
You will learn:
Bread theory & benefits of sourdough
How to build your own recipe
Mixing techniques
Maintaining a starter
Shaping techniques
How to bake the perfect loaf
If you've never baked sourdough before, this class will give you a solid base to begin your journey, without having to go back and fill in the blanks.
If you've been baking sourdough for a while but are looking to improve your craft and solve some mysteries you've encountered along the way, I'll help you take your understanding to the next level.
What you'll take home:
Banneton basket
Dough scraper
Scoring blade
A fresh loaf you scored and baked
A loaf to bake the following morning
Sourdough starter
Sourdough recipe booklet
Lastly, you will take home a lifetime worth of knowledge that your family and friends will benefit from. It will hopefully ignite a passion for real food in a world surrounded by the ultraprocessed.
Join the quest, be the change.
