The Meet the Gruffalo afternoon session welcomes the character to Waterstones in Glasgow. Various performers appear for the family event on 14 October 2026 at no cost to attendees.

To celebrate the release of Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, we’re delighted to be welcoming the Gruffalo himself!

To celebrate the release of Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, we’re delighted to be welcoming the Gruffalo himself to our shop! Join us for a special storytime to hear Gruffalo Granny, and then meet the Gruffalo as he says hello!

Tickets are free but booking is essential. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who does not need a ticket.
