Parent prep workshop that you have been looking for! The newborn care workshop goes above and beyond standard free NHS antenatal classes. Run by 3 baby care experts - Aurelija from Good Times Birth, Lauren from Little Lifesavers CPR, and Lisa from Good Lac this workshop offers hands-on practice, realistic preparation, and compassionate support for both you and your baby. You’ll leave feeling calmer, better informed, and ready to meet those first few weeks with confidence instead of having to google things in the middle of the night. In a relaxed, judgement-free space, we’ll walk you through the essential skills for those first few days and weeks, giving you the tools and reassurance you need to meet your baby’s needs and trust your instincts. In this session, we will explore: What to expect in the first few days, weeks and months with your little one - what is common and when to seek help, what support is available and how to navigate challenging situations. Practical newborn care - Nappy changing, umbilical cord care, bathing, dressing, swaddling, and baby carrying. Safe sleep practices, including current guidance on reducing risks. Feeding foundations - breast/chest, bottle, or combination with Lisa from Good Lac Infant CPR, choking, recovery positions, and safety with Little Lifesavers CPR.
