About This Event

Noisy Nights takes place at Drygate Bar, Kitchen and Brewing Co. in Glasgow on 29 September 2026 at 19:30. Red Note Ensemble performs an evening of bold and unpredictable music. Admission is free.

Join Red Note Ensemble for an evening of bold, unpredictable, and never-before-heard music.

The summer of sport may be over soon, but we’re just getting warmed up.

Red Note’s much-loved series celebrates fresh sounds and emerging voices, bringing together composers, performers and curious listeners in a relaxed setting where experimentation is encouraged and anything can happen.

Our players, Fiona Winning (viola), Tom Hunter (percussion) and Martin Story (cello) will perform up to eight brand new five-minute works selected from our open call.

Feeling inspired? Take on the 10-Minute Composer Challenge. Create a musical idea on the night, and you might hear it performed before the evening is over.
