Don’t just decorate, COOK! A hands on Halloween cooking experience where kids create a spooky feast from scratch.

Step into the Roots to Bytes kitchen for a special three hour Halloween cooking experience where children will get hands on with real ingredients and create their very own Halloween party feast from scratch.

This isn’t simply decorating cupcakes or adding spooky toppings to ready-made food. Children will be mixing, chopping, shaping, cooking and baking, learning real kitchen skills while transforming everyday ingredients into seriously spooky creations.

The exact menu? That’s staying under wraps until the day!

Expect a mixture of savoury and sweet creations, plenty of hands on cooking and some frighteningly good results to take home and enjoy.

Our Halloween Kitchen is intentionally limited to just 4 children per session.

Keeping the group small means we can work closely with each child, guide them through each stage and give them the time and attention they need to cook confidently and safely.

Who is it for?

This event is designed for children aged 8–12 years.

No previous cooking experience is needed. Whether your child already enjoys spending time in the kitchen or has had very little opportunity to cook before, they're welcome to join us.

What does my child need to bring?

Just themselves and a willingness to get stuck in! All ingredients, cooking equipment and aprons will be provided.

Children should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes suitable for working in the kitchen. Long hair should be tied back.
