On November 14, 2026, the RSNO opens its 2026/27 season at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The evening's programme features Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by soloist Roman Borisov, accompanied by conductor Thomas Søndergård. Dorothy Howell's "Lamia" serves as an enchanting interlude before the main performance. This symphony, under Søndergård’s baton, along with Rachmaninov's celebrated concerto, promises a captivating and dynamic musical experience for all concertgoers.
