We welcome you to an evening of life drawing accompanied by slow shibari performances at Agora Studios. Shibari is a form of Japanese rope art that brings together movement, composition and the human form, offering a unique perspective on the body as a living work of art. This will include working from standing positions, on the floor and both partial and full suspensions in the air. We will have two live tying sessions of around 45 minutes each, with a 15 minute break to stretch, grab a drink and share your sketches if you feel inspired. This event is welcome to all artists and skill levels, and no previous knowledge or experience is required. BYOB and drawing materials are provided (you're welcome to bring your own materials). This event takes place at Agora Studios, a queer and feminist run art space in the city centre. Please note, the studio is not accessible and is located up 2 flights of stairs. Questions? Feel free to email shibarilifedrawingglasgow@proton.me, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
