Multi-award-losing film nerd Simon Brew (Film Stories, Den Of Geek), arrives in Glasgow with 90 minutes of tales from the movies. Funny, geeky and packed with anecdotes, stories and money-absolutely-can-buy prizes, it's a celebration of cinema, good and bad, with lots of nerdy facts, and lots of terrible jokes. Films talked about so far on this tour, just to give you a frame of reference: Superman, Superman III, Moana, Stalag 17, Hudson Hawk, Crash (the good one), The Devils, Rocky II, Rocky IV, Poltergeist, Howard The Duck, Masters Of The Universe, The Exorcist, The Exorcist II, North By Northwest, Event Horizon, Legal Eagles, Sneakers, The Magic Faraway Tree, Cars 2, Armageddon, The Offence, The Princess & The Frog, That’s Entertainment, Geostorm, Field Of Dreams… who knows what'll come up in Glasgow?! Praise from the last leg of the tour: “Simon Brew is a real entertainer. Knowledgeable, engaging, self-deprecating – not to mention he’s very funny.” “The show was excellent. Simon was funny, engaging and interesting. A brilliant quiz at the end for some wacky prizes had everyone in uproar” “Very engaging and funny.” “It got me out of the house.” Suitable for 12 year olds upwards.
