About This Event

The Moulsdale Foundation is hosting a social event at its collection of classic cars and motorcycles in Bishopbriggs on 25 October 2026. The venue holds over 400 vehicles and operates as a Scottish charity. 100% of sales from open days support the foundation's charitable fund.

Feedback from previous social events was it gave some people awareness about an event but also the opportunity to attend with likeminded people. So, here’s another one…. Sorry It’s another car/transport related event! I’m open to suggestions on “other” events so let me know if there’s something the group may like. I’ve talked to some about a private museum housing what is believed Scotland's largest private collection of classic and performance cars and motorcycles (over 400 vehicles). It’s part of the Moulsdale Foundation, a Scottish philanthropic organization and charity established by David Moulsdale, the founder and chairman of Optical Express. They have regular open days and 100% of ticket sales and café profits from these open days go directly to the foundation's charitable fund. It’s not the cheapest to visit but it is an excellent collection displayed in a modern facility that was previously an Aviva office and call centre. It’s all for for good causes. Including healthcare charities (Maggie’s, Macmillan, Beatson, Race against Dementia, Scottish Parkinson’s, etc) , educational (Keep Girls in School initiative, etc), Addiction Recovery and Mental Health (Clean and Sober Life, etc) as well as community projects in the UK and international. What can you expect to see: **Rally Legends:** Iconic competition cars associated with the McRae family, including Colin McRae’s 1995 championship-winning Subaru Impreza and a Ford Sierra Cosworth driven by Jimmy McRae. **Formula 1 & Motorsport:** Single-seater racing cars driven by multi-race F1 winner David Coulthard, alongside historic muscle cars and rare Group B rally machines like the Metro 6R4. **Classic & Vintage Cars:** such as Roger Clark's Escorts and Cortinas, a classic Fiat 500, vintage motorbikes, and an infamous Ford Lotus Cortina used as a getaway vehicle by Great Train Robbery mastermind Bruce Reynolds. **Supercars & Sports Cars:** Numerous modern and classic supercars from brands like McLaren, Ferrari, Pors
