Entering a specially built environment, the audience are asked to take a number, take a seat and wait – but for what? Which bureaucratic wheels must turn before they can be seen, and by whom? A seasick electronic soundtrack churns, surveillance screens distort and glow, all adding to the growing sense of unease as we start to wonder whose number is up. Project made possible by support from Fachausschuss Musik BS/BL and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
