Join us in person for the Studio Development Programme to boost your skills and creativity in a fun, hands-on way! Studio Development Programme Thursdays, 12 November – 10 December 2026 7–9pm · Five-week programme A five-week, artist-led programme designed to help you develop your own creative project from the ground up. Across the programme, you’ll explore ideas, materials, colour, composition, surfaces and scale while gradually developing work that feels personal and meaningful to you. Whether you’re taking your first steps into art, returning to creativity after time away, or looking for more guidance in developing your practice, the programme is designed to meet you where you are. No previous project is required. You can arrive with a sketchbook full of ideas or simply with curiosity. Together, we’ll discover a starting point and explore how your ideas might move forward. Unlike a conventional art class, you won’t all be following the same instructions. The sessions are intentionally small and responsive, allowing you to receive individual guidance shaped around your own interests, experiences and creative needs. The programme extends beyond the studio through personalised follow-up emails after each session, helping you reflect on your progress and continue developing your ideas between classes. The programme includes: Individual guidance and mentoring within a small group Artist references and discussion to broaden your creative thinking Experimentation with a range of materials and approaches Support in developing your own ideas and creative direction Time to reflect, discuss and receive constructive feedback Personalised follow-up emails after each session Suitable for complete beginners, returning artists, makers and anyone interested in developing a more personal creative practice. £200 for five sessions. About Slow Burn Studio Slow Burn Studio is an artist-led creative space in Glasgow offering small-group programmes, workshops and individual guidance designed to support people in developing their own creative practice.
