Our SWAN Glasgow Queens Park group visit The Craft Pottery!

SWAN Places are in-person social meet-up groups in locations across Scotland. They are autistic spaces, run by autistic volunteers.

The Craft Pottery is a pottery painting studio in Glasgow's city centre. SWAN will cover the studio fee and the cost of one £11 item. If you would like to do more than one item or an item more expensive than £11, you will need to pay the difference yourself on the night.

The Craft Pottery allow visitors to Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) and do not charge a corkage fee, so please feel free to bring your own refreshments.

We'll meet at 6:50pm outside the The Craft Pottery. The facilitator will be waiting outside. The event will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm.

Please read our Guidelines & Rules before you come along to any of our SWAN Places groups, to help ensure they are safe, supportive and friendly spaces.

Who is this group for?

SWAN groups are safe spaces for autistic women, both cis and trans, and non-binary people over-18 who live, work or study in the local area.

SWAN is inclusive of all autistic women and non-binary people, including those who are exploring whether they are autistic, who self identify as autistic or are clinically diagnosed (private or NHS).

Accessibility

We aim to make our groups as accessible as possible - they are run and designed by autisic people, in accessible venues.

If you have any medical conditions which might affect you when you are at a group, please let the facilitator know at the start of the group so they are aware of what to do should anything happen (e.g. epilepsy, diabetes, etc.).
