Pack your favourite teddy and join us for a fun filled family morning at Kelvingrove Park! Together, we'll help care for one of Glasgow's beautiful green spaces with a family friendly litter pick, giving children the chance to make a positive difference to their local community while learning about looking after the environment. Afterwards, we'll gather for a teddy bears' picnic with a tasty nut-free snack, giving families the chance to relax, chat and enjoy the park together. It's a lovely opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet other local families and help keep our community looking its best. A nut-free snack will be provided by Family Volunteering Club, but feel free to bring your own nut-free picnic along too! What families will do: • Explore Kelvingrove Park with their favourite teddy • Take part in a family-friendly litter pick • Learn about caring for the environment • Enjoy a teddy bears' picnic with nut-free snacks • Meet other local families The volunteering impact: By clearing litter from Kelvingrove Park, your family is directly improving a much-loved green space – making it safer for children to play, more enjoyable for families to visit, and cleaner for the wildlife that calls it home. It's a simple, hands-on way for children to make a positive difference to their local community. No experience needed – just enthusiasm, sturdy shoes, and your favourite teddy! All litter picking equipment will be provided. Age suitability: Best suited to 3+ but all ages under 10 welcome along.
