The Elves And The Shoemaker will be performed on 6 December 2026 at the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre in Glasgow. The story revolves around a shoemaker who receives unexpected help from two elves in his time of need. It is designed for family audiences. Ticket prices range from £7.50 to £7.95.

One good turn deserves another. A poor shoemaker has only one pair of shoes left and not enough money to pay his rent. With the help of two mischievous Elves, he makes some unusual shoes that are very much appreciated and rewards the Elves in return. A fun adaptation of this Grimm’s tale is retold with the help of beautiful Elf puppets, objects and of course, lots of lovely Shoes! Also Craft Activity Colour-in and Cut-Out Puppets and Masks in our Cafe from 1pm before the show. Lots of designs to choose from, dinosaurs, dragons, rabbits, mermaids, Christmas... and much more, all materials provided £2.50 each or 3 for £6.00 or 4 for £8.00
