The performance marks the culmination of a season of intensive study and rehearsal for advanced young musicians drawn from across West and Central Scotland. Programme Highlights Include • Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade - Symphony Orchestra Directed by James Lowe • Oscar Navarro: Libertadores - Concert Band Directed by Chris Mitchell The performers represent the most advanced tier of the West of Scotland Schools’ ensembles. Having successfully auditioned from various local authorities across the region, these students have spent the 2026 season mastering challenging repertoire that spans traditional orchestral masterworks and contemporary wind band compositions. We can promise a wonderful evening of world-class music-making by the next generation of Scotland's finest musicians.
