About This Event

Casa Grazia lies on the Southern coast of Sicily, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Located in Sicily's only D.O.C.G., Maria Grazia di Francesco grows a variety of grape varieties, in and among olive groves and citrus orchards, beside the island's largest lagoon: Il Biviere. Tonight, we shall taste a range of this vineyard's wines, including the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. All of these wines originate from within the Biviere Natural Reserve. Maria cannot travel to be with us, this evening. However, she has shared her knowledge and enthusiasm with members of your committee, who will lead the tasting and pass on the information they have garnered from the source. This will be an evening of exploration; discovering wines from a specific location that few of us will have encountered before. Come along and join the adventure with the IWSS. The tasting aims to start at 19h30. We have specified a 19h15 arrival time, in the hope that that will ensure most of us arrive in time. If you are going to be late, let us know, but you will be welcome whenever you arrive - even if you miss out on the first wine(s)!!
