The SWC is holding a conference for women to share their experiences and ideas and to call for greater investment in communities.

The Scottish Women’s Convention (SWC) is holding its conference “Your Community, Your Say, Women's Priorities”. Community spaces such as libraries, town halls, sports and leisure facilities play a vital role in building social connection, reducing inequality and tackling discrimination. Yet across Scotland, these spaces are disappearing.

Women across Scotland have consistently highlighted the importance of community spaces in their lives, while also raising concerns about funding cuts limiting their availability. This conference brings women together to share their experiences and ideas and to call for greater investment in community spaces that help build stronger, more connected communities.

Once women hear from our panel of speakers there will be a Q&A session, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask any relevant questions.
