Never made a zine before? A zine is a small, self-published magazine that can be about absolutely anything — your favourite music, books, memories, travels, poetry, art, everyday life or simply whatever is on your mind. During this two-hour beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn a little about the world of zines before creating your very own using a mix of collage, drawing, writing and illustration. Steph will guide you through the process, so you can focus on experimenting, having fun and making something completely personal to you. The workshop is hosted by Mexican illustrator Steph Brown (Coomo Art), who has previously hosted creative workshops at The Glasgow Art Club, bringing people together through accessible, social and playful art-making. It’s also a lovely opportunity to meet other creative people in Glasgow. Come on your own or bring a friend — the atmosphere is designed to be friendly, relaxed and welcoming.
