Praise for Cloud Vigil

"Thembe Mvula turns everyday reflections on love and loss into an immortal communal of modern feeling, written with an accessible yet precise eye. A strong collection from a vital voice." - Inua Ellams

"Cloud Vigil takes Thembe Mvula’s writing, which has long been full of beauty and precision, and gives us a wonderful pamphlet, rich with language that manages to shout and whisper at the same time. A beautiful meditation on grief, love, and all the places — real and imagined — in between, Cloud Vigil is a pamphlet to return to and savour again and again." - Bridget Minamore

"Cloud Vigil, as in its title, offers a tender room for remembrance, love, and the liminal spaces in-between. These poems not only bend realities, they are musings capturing grief, nature and loneliness, crafted with care. An anticipated gorgeous pamphlet from Thembe Mvula." - Yomi Ṣode
