Where Research is Applied: A day of demonstrations and workshops relating to Horse, Saddle and Rider Interaction

We’re delighted to welcome you back to our Equine Sport Science Summit. With so many CPD and online learning opportunities now available, we wanted to create something different to previous summits, an experience that is primarily practical, hands-on, and directly applicable to your everyday practice.

This year’s programme brings together world-leading researchers, clinicians, and an eight-time Olympian under one roof, all focused on the theme of Horse, Saddle, and Rider Interaction. Throughout the day, you’ll experience live demonstrations examining saddle pressure and rein tension, gain insight into the workings of a high-performance multidisciplinary team, and hear how sports science and collaborative approaches have supported both performance and longevity at the highest level.

In the afternoon, delegates can take part in multiple workshop sessions covering a wide range of topics, each designed to offer a more applied, interactive learning experience. To conclude the summit, Andrew Hoy will share insights into his training programme through a lecture demonstration.

We’re confident this will be a truly unique event, offering exceptional quality of information alongside practical application. Whether you’re a coach, veterinary or therapy professional, saddle fitter, or a horse owner and rider, you’ll gain valuable insights to enhance performance, improve horse–rider interaction, and strengthen your approach, whatever your level, and suppourt our horses.
