Join Clifton Cameras & Canon with Stephen Fisher at the British & Midland Hill Climb Championship finale, Prescott Speed Hill Climb. Photograph the British Hill Climb Championship Join us with Canon and 2021 Motorsport UK Young Photographer of the Year, Stephen Fisher (https://www.stephenfisherphoto.com/live-portfolio), at the British and Midland Hill Climb Championship closing round of the season, held at the iconic Prescott Speed Hill Climb. The day will be action-packed with automotive motion. You'll enjoy Media Passes and exclusive access to the track so that you get the best view in town. Explore the paddock to photograph tantalising close-ups, and you'll even get an exclusive hill walk with one of the drivers to give you the best feel of how each turn works. Canon Kit Loan on the Day Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to book 1-hour loan slots of Canon kit. This could include a Canon mirrorless camera or lens. We would recommend a telephoto lens for the hill climb photography and a wide-aperture prime for the paddock shots. If you already have all the camera equipment you need, you do not need to do this, but it's a great chance to try something you've always had your eye on. You must let us know before the day what kit you want to try so we can make sure it's ready for you. How the day works Arrival and refreshments Join us early for croissants and coffee. Get your bearings, get briefed and get your first loan kit. Morning Photography Session You'll be split into two groups. Group A will head to the track with Stephen Fisher to learn how to pan and get those iconic shots. Group B will spend time in the paddock getting beautiful detail imagery with one of our Clifton Creators. Two Course Lunch and Track Walk Enjoy a two-course lunch as the whole track takes a break. Then take a walk up the hill with one of the drivers, who will explain every turn and give you a better understanding of exactly how the track works. Not to mention incredible views! Afternoon Photography Session In the afternoon, the groups will swap. Group A will head to the paddock for detail shots, and Group B will take their turn on the hill with Stephen. Meet Stephen Fisher 2021 Motorsport UK Young Photographer of the Year, Stephen Fisher (https://www.stephenfisherphoto.com/live-portfolio) has undeniable talent. He has photographed everything from Formula 1 to the Winter Olympics. Stephen’s knowledge and passion in the automotive world allow him to work closely with clients in order to capture photographs that are both editorial and commercial. Since becoming a freelancer in 2023, Stephen has been working with clients including BMW, Mercedes and Aston Martin. From high-speed to more sedate, Stephen also works with World Curling as the photography manager.
