Meet Father Christmas in the Captain's Cabin aboard historic tall ship Kathleen and May in Gloucester Docks on Saturday, 12 December 2026

Ahead of his magical round-the-world voyage, Father Christmas is making a special secret stop to the historic Port of Gloucester, Gloucester Docks for one day only on Saturday, 12th December 2026.

Step onboard historic tall ship the Kathleen & May before meeting Father Christmas in the Captain's Cabin for a unique and unforgettable experience where you can tell him your Christmas wishes. He'll be saving an early festive gift for you and with the help of his trusty crew, you'll receive a hot chocolate milkshake to help keep you toasty.

Organise a magical family day for shared fun and adventure to Gloucester and enjoy the famous Gloucester Quays Winter Market and Outdoor Ice Rink,the delights of the National Waterways Museum, the perfect Christmas destination, so get your skates on.

Ticket price of £13.50 per child includes a timed entry meet with Father Christmas aboard Kathleen & May, a child's hot chocolate milkshake, pirate loot bag and a festive gift. The visit with Father Christmas will last approximately five minutes. This experience is suitable for ages 12 and under and is organised by the Kathleen & May Community Interest Company.

There will be plenty of magical photo opportunities aboard. Don't forget to provide your child's preferred name when you book your ticket so that Father Christmas can greet them personally.

As the Kathleen & May is a historic ship under maintenance, it is not currently suitable for wheelchair or buggy access. Access to the Kathleen & May is over a gangway to the main deck with stairs leading to the Captain's Cabin.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-book early before Father Christmas returns to the North Pole.
