In Victorian England, ghost stories by the fireside were an essential part of Christmas. Revive the tradition at Llanthony Secunda Priory, a 12th-century Augustinian priory in Gloucester, with celebrated storyteller Tony Walker (host of the Classic Ghost Stories Podcast) reading three supernatural Christmas tales by candlelight in the medieval Henry Dene Hall. Doors open at 6.45pm with complimentary mulled wine and mince pies being served. The first story begins at 7.15pm, finishing around 9.30pm. The evening includes a twenty-minute interval.
