Explore culture, creativity and heritage in Lincoln with The Create North East Lincolnshire Team
Join the Create North East Lincolnshire Team in a visit to Lincoln on Thursday 12th November 2026. The day is set to include:
- Minibus return travel from Grimsby Town Rail Station for an 8:00am departure and return from Lincoln to be back in Grimsby for 5:15pm.
- An opportunity to explore Lincoln cultural, creative and heritage spaces such as:
Barbican Creative Hub: versatile space for creative industries in a Grade II listed building.
View restored shop frontages and public spaces as part of Lincoln's High Street Heritage Action Zone.
The Usher Gallery: public art gallery with permanent collections of fine arts, decorative arts, national collections and a vibrant programme of temporary exhibitions.
Lincoln Cathedral: floor tour of the magnificent medieval gothic cathedral.
Lincoln Arts Centre: The University of Lincoln’s public arts centre with a focus on contemporary visual and performing arts.
Paid lunch and networking with fellow North East Lincolnshire creative and heritage practitioners.
Please note itinerary is subject to change and dependent on availability of host organisations.
Please note that sign up is required by Monday 12th October, 12 noon (although all places are likely to be snapped up by this date).
Places are limited. First come, first served. We will operate a waiting list once capacity is full.
To maximise the opportunity for as many people and orgainsations as possible, we ask that those that sign up are commited to attending the visit and that we operate on the basis of one sign up per organisation.
Please also note that the visit will include at least half an hour walking between locations, some of which will be uphill. We aim to support access needs, which we ask you to stipulate upon sign up. We will ensure that irrespective of pace someone will be aviailable to accompany the slowest walker.
