Humber Marine & Renewables is bringing members together with ORE Catapult at its Grimsby base to explore how businesses across the region can better connect with the innovation, technology, skills and development opportunities emerging from the offshore renewable energy sector.
There is a huge amount happening across the Humber and wider offshore wind supply chain. This session will provide members with a valuable insight into what ORE Catapult does, the facilities and programmes available, and where there may be opportunities for your business to engage, collaborate or access support.
What to expect
The session will include an introduction to ORE Catapult, covering:
Its history, purpose and role within the offshore renewable energy sector
Who ORE Catapult works with and how businesses can engage
Its locations, specialist assets and facilities
Current and upcoming industry programmes and initiatives
Opportunities through programmes including F4OR, Launch Academy, CEWS, NeoWind, Wind Innovation Hub and OWGP
How businesses can identify opportunities to collaborate, innovate and develop their capabilities
Importantly, this is not a one-size-fits-all session. Every business attending will have different capabilities, ambitions and requirements. The aim is to help each company understand whether and how ORE Catapult could be relevant to them — and, where it isn't the right fit, identify other organisations, programmes or routes that may be more appropriate.

Build your network – meet other HM&R members and explore potential collaborations across the region's growing maritime and renewable energy supply chain.
Find the right support – if ORE Catapult isn't the right route for your business, the session will help signpost you towards other relevant opportunities and organisations.
The formal session will be followed by networking, providing an opportunity to continue conversations with ORE Catapult and fellow HM&R members.
Who should attend?
The event is particularly relevant to businesses working across offshore wind, maritime, engineering, manufacturing, technology, innovation, digital, services and the wider supply chain, as well as companies looking to diversify into the growing offshore renewable energy market.
