The next step up from our Fossil Fun event. Join our team and a small group of like minded people on a 3 hour fossil hunting adventure!
You'll join a local fossil hunter with over 20 years experience of fossil hunting on the Yorkshire coast and discover the prehistoric secrets Spurn has to offer in this hands-on, family focused event!
As one of the fastest eroding coastlines in Europe, the North Sea provides a steady stream of incredible fossils ranging from coral specimens over 300-million-year-old to ice age beasts only a few thousand years in age.
During this walk our staff will help you to ID what we find, offer preparation advice and give you some top tips to make your own future discoveries!
