Welcome to Joyfull Greens - Community Cooking monthly sessions!

Come cook, share a meal, meet new people and take home delicious leftovers!

Our sessions offer a relaxed, social, and mindful environment where you can discover the joy of cooking. Learn how to prepare nutritious, budget‑friendly meals and add more plants to your plate for better health and wellbeing.

No experience needed — just enthusiasm! All ingredients are provided.

Who is this for?

Everyone is welcome.

Donations are welcome from those who are able to contribute — every little helps us run more free community sessions.

These classes are free for Waverley residents who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or living with additional barriers, including those who:

are on a low income

have physical or mental health conditions

have disabilities

are unpaid carers

are single parents

are adults living alone (50+)

would benefit from a friendly, supportive cooking session focused on easy, affordable and nutritious meals

Attached to the Godalming Borough Hall, Located across from Waitrose.

Towards Guildford: Borough Hall bus stop — directly outside the Denningberg Centre

Towards Midhurst/Ockford Ridge/Farnham: The Square bus stop — 3‑minute walk

Parking: Crown Court car park is the closest long stay.

Cancellations & Refunds:

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible by replying to your confirmation email or texting us at 07392 401192. As we purchase fresh ingredients based on attendance, this helps us offer your place to someone on the waiting list.

We cannot guarantee that any food or drink prepared or consumed in our classes is free from the 14 major allergens. Even when allergens are not used, cross-contact may occur. Participants attend at their own risk.

Booking:

This class is funded by Waverley Borough Council. Places are limited to 12 and must be booked in advance. Please only attend if you’ve received a confirmation email.

Joyfull Greens is a Not-For-Profit organisation and subsidies these community classes, and we would appreciate any donation amount. Your class fee and donations help us run more free community classes for those who cannot afford it. If you love the class and are able to donate more, there will be an opportunity after the class - thanks in advance!
