Celebrate Fiji Day 2026 with a special rugby fixture as the Former Flying Fijians take on the British Army Masters.

Fiji Day Rugby Celebrations 2026

Former Flying Fijians vs British Army Masters

Join us for a historic Fiji Day celebration as the Former Flying Fijians face the British Army Masters in a special commemorative rugby fixture.

This match honours a powerful moment in Fiji’s national story. On 10 October 1970, while Fiji’s national rugby team was touring England and Wales, the players witnessed the raising of Fiji’s new national flag and heard the national anthem for the first time. Fifty-six years later, rugby brings that story full circle.

Expect a memorable day of rugby, culture, community and celebration as we honour Fiji’s rugby pioneers, recognise the enduring relationship between Fiji and the United Kingdom, and inspire the next generation.
