Flyerz is an adaptive version of field hockey designed for children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and disabilities

It’s all about fun, friendship, and giving everyone the chance to enjoy the game in a safe, welcoming environment.

Our Vision

At Camberley & Farnborough Hockey Club, we believe hockey should be for everyone. Flyerz is part of our commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that children and young adults with SEND needs have the same opportunities to play, laugh, and grow through sport.

Why Flyerz?

Accessible for all abilities – Whether you’re new to hockey or already love sport, it is tailored to meet individual needs.

Team spirit – Build confidence, make friends, and be part of a supportive community.

Fun first – Sessions focus on enjoyment, creativity, and participation rather than competition.

Adapted equipment & coaching – We use modified sticks, balls, and activities to ensure everyone can join in.

Who Can Join?

It is open to children and adults of all abilities, including those with physical, learning, or sensory needs. Families, siblings and carers are encouraged to get involved too – it’s a community experience.
