Join us near Shalford for a day of tree planting!

Surrey Hills Society is continuing to work with local landowners and farmers to plant native hedgerows across the Surrey Hills National Landscape. This will create vital wildlife corridors, as well as provide food and shelter for a variety of wildlife.

Hedgerow planting is a fun activity, suitable for individuals, small teams, friends and families and a great way to enjoy the beautiful Surrey Hills. Native hedgerows will help to support and encourage species such as barn owls, hedgehogs, and dormice.

We would love it if you could join us and the local landowner in planting a variety of native tree species for nature to enjoy - no prior experience necessary!
