Blending roots, folk, soul, Americana, jazz, blues and pop, the record offers both sanctuary and encouragement. It features the powerful BBC Introducing supported singles already released: the anthemic ‘One Of Us’; the soul-soothing ‘Rainbow’; and the retro-infused, inspired pop of ‘Sober’, as championed by Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 6 Music.

The album explores themes of self-expression, emotional resilience, mental wellness, and personal evolution, anchored by her distinctive, soothing yet powerful voice and a unique blend of heartfelt storytelling, uplifting melodies, and genre fluidity. ‘Identity’ is about being seen, being heard, and discovering the freedom that comes with fully inhabiting who you are. It is a soulful exploration of self-love: an invitation to celebrate and accept ourselves, and each other.

Lady Nade writes with honesty and vulnerability, balancing emotional depth with warmth, positivity and hope.
