As the fields turn golden and autumn settles over the Surrey Hills, join us at The Cricketers Circle for a very special evening celebrating the traditions, abundance and simple pleasures of Harvest Thanksgiving.

From the moment you arrive, the season will be in full swing.

Morris dancers will welcome our guests outside The Cricketers, bringing one of England's great folk traditions to Westcott before we gather indoors for an intimate evening of music, autumnal food, special wines and conviviality.

At the heart of the evening will be the extraordinary Mazaika Duo — Sarah Harrison on violin, domra and vocals and Igor Outkine on accordion and vocals.

Returning to perform for us after two wonderfully received previous appearances, Mazaika combine breathtaking musicianship with theatricality, humour and sheer joie de vivre. Their wonderfully eclectic repertoire travels from Gypsy fire and Tango passion to classical virtuosity, French chanson, Balkan rhythms and much more.

They have delighted audiences everywhere from Cadogan Hall and Crazy Coqs to Glastonbury — and anyone who has experienced Mazaika with us before will know that one never quite knows what is going to happen next!

An Evening with a Purpose

The Cricketers Circle is the home and headquarters of the Gigantic Worx Foundation (GWF), which advocates for the importance of music education and access to music for future generations.

Our programme of intimate concerts, cultural evenings and gatherings brings that mission to life: creating a place where musicians and audiences can meet, where music can be experienced at close quarters, and where conversation, friendship and hospitality flourish alongside it.

Every gathering at The Cricketers Circle helps us tell that larger story — and helps give GWF's work a voice.

The Harvest Table

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a selection of harvest-inspired canapés, accompanied by specially selected wines chosen for the occasion.

Think autumn fruits, orchard flavours, cheeses, warm spices and the generosity of the English harvest table.
