Margaret Watson is one of the South East's most sought-after professional harpists. A Diploma holder in Harp Performance and Fellow of the Guild of Musicians and Singers, she has performed for members of the Royal Family, including HRH The Princess Royal, HRH Princess Alexandra, and The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Her distinguished career has taken her to venues such as Clarence House, The Savoy, The Ritz, Glyndebourne Opera House, the Royal Courts of Justice, National Trust properties and historic castles throughout Britain, as well as appearances for the BBC and Netflix. Renowned for her captivating performances, extensive repertoire and beautifully crafted period costumes, Margaret is also an accredited Arts Society lecturer and a dedicated performer for the charity Music in Hospitals, bringing the healing power of music to hospitals, hospices and care homes across the UK.

We are delighted to introduce The Cricketers Circle — a new, intimate setting for live music here in Westcott, Surrey.
Join us for our Second Music Salon in the current series on Thursday 3rd September at 7pm, featuring the wonderful British harpist Margaret Watson (see the video below), performing a one-hour recital on her Japanese Aoyana Concert Harp.
Inspired by the great European salon tradition, these gatherings place guests in close company with virtuoso artists — where music is experienced not at a distance, but as something immediate, personal, and shared.
The evening is limited to just 25 guests, creating a uniquely close and atmospheric experience.
Your evening will include:
• A champagne reception on arrival
• A one-hour live harp recital
• A relaxed dessert gathering afterwards
