Ripon Cathedral partners with the Ripon Community Poppy Project to present an unforgettable evening of music and remembrance in this magnificent setting. Performers for the evening: East Cleveland Brass (formerly North Skelton Band) represents the latest chapter in a long and proud brass band tradition rooted in the mining communities of East Cleveland. Charlotte Potter - Acclaimed soprano who has graced venues from Westminster to the BBC Proms, returning after her moving D-Day anniversary performance Mark Sidwell - Born in 1972 Mark started playing the trumpet at the age of 8, moving quickly over to the cornet. Dr Richard Martin - organist and pianist based in Nidderdale. The concert is part of the annual November commemorations featuring spectacular knitted poppy displays throughout the cathedral.
