The Epiphany Festal Eucharist will take place at Ripon Cathedral on 6 January 2027. This service commemorates the feast of Epiphany, celebrating the revelation of Jesus to the wise men, and will include the offering of gifts at the Crib.
Join us as we celebrate the feast of Epiphany when we remember Jesus being shown to wise men from the East who symbolise all the nations of the earth worshipping our Incarnate God and offering rich and rare gifts – gold for a king; incense for God; myrrh for one who will suffer and die. These three gifts are offered at the Crib during our service as a sign of our adoration and recognition that Jesus is our Lord and God with us. The word ‘Epiphany’ is Greek for ‘manifestation, showing forth, revealing’. The service will be livestreamed on the cathedral YouTube channel. Order of Service
