A hands-on taster session with Sculptor David Iredale

INTRODUCTION TO STONE CARVING WITH DAVID

Have you ever fancied having a go at carving stone?

This relaxed, practical taster session offers an introduction to the traditional craft of stone carving. Under David's guidance, participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the tools and materials and experience some of the basic techniques involved in shaping and carving stone.

The session is designed as an introduction rather than a full stone-carving course, making it ideal for complete beginners or anyone curious about trying the craft for the first time.

It will also provide information about opportunities to take the next step and join a more in-depth stone-carving course.

No previous carving experience is required.

Participants must be 18+
