**GRAB YOUR TICKETS WHILE YOU CAN!** *After last year's sell-out show, "On a Storyteller's Night" is back for 2026,* bringing you a completely new collection of researched local stories, strange happenings and tales from the darker corners of our history. This year it is ticketed through Ticketsource - due to the demand last year. So don't delay, as you may miss out! ***On a Storyteller's Night*** Join us for an evening exploring the stories that don’t always make it into the history books. We’ll be delving into **murders, hauntings, local gossip, unexplained events and fascinating gaps in the historical record**, with stories connected to Harrogate and the surrounding area. Some stories are drawn from historical records and research. Others have been passed down through families or remembered locally. This is a relaxed evening of storytelling where you can simply sit back and listen, enjoy a drink from the bar, or even share a story of your own if you dare! We’ll also be bringing back a few familiar faces from the past as we uncover some of the more colourful characters and events from our local history. So bring a story, or just come and listen. No pressure - just a warm, friendly night where the past comes alive with a laugh and a raised eyebrow. Your stories should be from Harrogate and the surrounding areas. ***There will be a bar before the event starts and at the interval.*** **Date:** Friday 30th October 2026 **Time:** 7.30 - 9.00pm **Place:** Hampsthwaite Memorial Hall **Tickets from Ticketsource:** £5 (This show is likely to sell out, so grab your tickets whilst you can, as there will be no tickets on the door!)
