The Second BIgest Selling Album Ever!

Vinylsessions presents: AC/DC – Back in Black

The fun starts at 7.30pm with the album introduction & back story from Graham Chalmers, we drop the needle at around 8.00pm with a break between sides

Get ready to turn it up! This Vinylsessions event celebrates one of the greatest rock albums of all time: AC/DC’s legendary Back in Black.

Released in 1980, Back in Black marked an extraordinary comeback following the tragic death of original frontman Bon Scott. With new vocalist Brian Johnson, AC/DC produced a rock masterpiece that would become one of the biggest-selling albums in music history. From the haunting opening bells of Hells Bells to the unmistakable riffs of You Shook Me All Night Long, this is pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll.

And a great audio menue! We'll be playing the album in full on vinyl, through a carefully selected hi-fi system featuring a Technics SL-1210GR turntable with Hana SH cartridge, Marantz PM8005 amplifier and Wharfedale EVO 4.4 floorstanding speakers. A system chosen to bring out the detail, dynamics and sheer power of this classic recording.

Whether you grew up with AC/DC blasting from your record player or discovered them more recently, join us for an evening of great music, shared memories and the pleasure of listening to an album as a complete work.

And Vinylsessions is about more than music. Since starting in 2018, our events have raised over £25,000 for Harrogate Hospital's Community Charity. (£10,000 this year to SCBU). Every event brings people together through a shared love of music while supporting a very worthwhile local cause, EVERY penny goes straight to the charity, thanks to our host at Starling & Lynd Products Limited

Great music. Great hi-fi. Good company. A great cause.
