As Autumn Creaps Up! Our events begin with this iconic best selling album, spun on vinyl with a superb Technics/NAD/B&W guest audio system

We begin our autumn 26 Vinylsessions events with Amy Winehouse with Back to Black, hard to believe (in my case!) this is approaching 20 years since release… Having sold over 20 million copies this album sits amongst the best sellers of all time and an excellent candidate for our October event

Back to Black is the second and final studio album by the English singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse, released on 27 October 2006 by Island Records. Winehouse predominantly based the album on her tumultuous relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, who temporarily left her to pursue an ex-girlfriend. Their brief separation spurred Winehouse to create an album that explores themes of guilt, grief, infidelity, heartbreak and trauma in a relationship.

We put together a superb age related audio system featuring our Technics SL1210GR Turntable, NAD 372 Amplifier driving B&W Nautilus 804 speakers.

The fun starts at 7.30pm with the usual banter from Colin & Graham, followed by an artist and album back story. We spin the vinyl album around 8.00pm with a slide and video show accompanying.
