Join our Nature Reserves Manager for an exclusive drive, for just four people, in our working truck, around Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Hear about the important work of our staff and volunteers in one of the largest and most important wildlife sites in England.
This all-access tour is a unique opportunity to discover how the nature reserve is managed and to learn from Paul about our upcoming projects and ambitious plans for the future. There will plenty of be opportunities to ask questions on the drive.
Find out how we're supporting the incredible landscape and wildlife at Rye Harbour to stand up to the challenges of a changing climate, diminishing water levels and predator pressures. Explore lesser-known areas of the nature reserve and hear how Sussex Wildlife Trust's Nature Reserves team is improving habitats and supporting key species here, especially wading birds and seabirds.
We'll take a drive around the beach and saltmarsh part of the nature reserve, as well as to peaceful Castle Water and the farmed areas of the reserve. You'll be likely to spot some wildlife en route and we'll finish up at our welcoming Discovery Centre and cafe with panoramic views across the saltmarsh.
