About This Event

Film Brew aims to bring together like minded film makers to make films, without needing any fancy equipment. Film Brew is a day for learning, bringing out your film creativity, and meeting other likeminded people. Meet at 11am in The Tardis room in Chesham Library. Depending on numbers, we may split into smaller teams. Everyone will be given a prompt which they will use to create a film. Teams have until 12pm to plan, before heading out to film. The film must be approximately 2-3 minutes long and have a clear and fully contained storyline based around the prompt. Teams will then have until 4pm to film their content and head back to a selected bar on Chesham High Street. After that, there is 1 week to edit and pass on the footage for it to be uploaded on to YouTube / shared with the group. What to bring: A camera for filming (phone, DSLR, etc). This is all about being creative, not fancy, so film on whatever you have. This is run and gun filming that will mostly be outdoors, so dress appropriately. Creativity Friendly vibes A willingness to edit - someone has to do it! After the shoot, hopefully you'll stick around a little while at the bar to chat about film and anything else you like. It's a very easy going networking opportunity and everyone will be added to a whatsapp group (if you wish) so you can stay in touch and call on each other for help with any personal projects you may have. Film Brew 1 Day events always be held on a Saturday but are not weekly, so keep an eye out for future dates.
