Find your future in film: Explore ways into the film industry. Get ideas. Meet new friends. Make a film. Booking essential. Places limited.

Fisheye has teamed up with Bucks New University, Marlow Studios, We Make Wycombe and Buckinghamshire Skills Hub to create an opportunity for young people to discover more about the film industry; how it works and how to find ways in.

The Discovery Day will provide plenty of chances to learn and ask questions, get hands on and make contact with industry people. You will hear about an exciting filmmaking challenge and how to get involved.

You will spend time in the filmmaking studios at Bucks New University. Sessions will cover what's involved in the current industry; creating a film; planning a shoot; film making basics; post production; and what happens when the film is made?

You should go away with more insight into the breadth of work in the industry and if filmmaking is something you would like to try. The filmmaking challenge would then give you the chance to test that out!
