Incredible Edible Guided Walk

From there, the Incredible Edible team will lead you on a tour around their iconic growing sites. You’ll discover how a small group of locals turned unloved bits of public space into thriving edible landscapes - and sparked a worldwide network of communities doing the same. Hear how the project began, why Todmorden remains its flagship example, and how growing food in public places can change the way we live, shop, and connect with one another.

As you walk, you'll get hands-on with the growing spaces themselves - picking and tasting fresh herbs and edible plants straight from the beds, learning about their culinary and medicinal uses, and picking up tips you can take home to your own garden or windowsill. Your guide will share the stories behind the plants and the people who tend them, bringing this inspiring project to life before your eyes.

Market Feast and Time to Explore

After your walk, you’ll head back to Todmorden Market for a relaxed late lunch. Here, the traders will treat you to a grazing box of delicious food provided by market traders, showcasing the flavours, produce, and personalities that make the market such a cornerstone of the town.
