About This Event

The event features a selection of French mountain wines paired with cheeses, creating a themed experience reminiscent of après ski culture. It will take place at Cru Wine Bar in Holmfirth on 21 January 2027. Tickets are priced at £35.00.

The final winter 'Chez Émilie' conversation social at the fabulous Cru Wine Bar in Holmfirth. Dust off your French in preparation for your trip to the Alps, whilst enjoying a delicious glass of wine from the region and paired cheeses. As usual, the night will be accompanied by French conversation and teaching from 'Émilie' at every level. Speakers and complete beginners welcome.

Ticket includes:

A generous glass of a choice of French mountain wines

A small cheese plate to pair with the wine

Themed French conversation and teaching from experienced tutor Emily, who speaks fluent French with nearly 20 years' secondary teaching experience.
